SERETIDE is used to help with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in people who need regular treatment. SERETIDE contains two medicines, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol xinafoate. Fluticasone propionate belongs to a group of medicines known as corticosteroids, frequently called 'steroids'. Salmeterol xinafoate is a bronchodilator. A bronchodilator keeps the breathing tubes in your lungs open and relieves the symptoms of asthma and other chest conditions.
