Dalacin is a semi solid pessary (vaginal suppository). When inserted into the vagina it releases a medicine called clindamycin phosphate. This belongs to a group of medicines called antibiotics. Dalacin is used in the treatment of a bacterial infection of the vagina called bacterial vaginosis.
